Bluehost Affiliate Marketing Program Review
Bluehost is a web hosting company with over 2 million customers. It provides a range of web hosting options including starter accounts with shared hosting, through to Virtual Servers. They are one of the official WordPress recommended vendors. You can check out their range of customer options from the button below.
Let’s take a look at what the affiliate program has to offer.
The following post is NOT a software review. It’s a review of the affiliate program structure only. If you aren’t sure what affiliate marketing is, then click here to find out.
I would recommend trying out a software or service before you join the affiliate program. You can try this one out using the button below:
Affiliate Program Details
Cost Per Sale (CPS) – You earn commission when the merchant makes a sale.
$65 per referral (Bounty Payment per user referred)
Bluehost pay affiliates approximately 45 to 60 days after the end of the month for which the affiliate bounty has been accrued. For example, if you referred a paying customer to Bluehost in January, then you would expect to be paid mid-end of March.
90 day Cookie
Promotional Materials include Links and Banners. No official training.
Pros: Reputable company with a good range of hosting products. Reasonable marketing materials. No financial investment required to join. A 90-day cookie is good.
Cons: As with the majority of hosting providers, there is no recurring income stream from referrals and payments are on a “bounty” basis. Typical of web hosts, there is a lengthy period between referral and commission payment. The bounty is fixed regardless of the customer purchase amount.
