Are you finding that everyone tells you to find a “niche” when considering affiliate marketing?
A niche product or service is one aimed at a subset of a bigger market.
The great balancing act is to find niches that have decent customer audience potential with as little competition as possible. That’s where it pays to do some keyword research.
Here are some tools to introduce you to the idea of researching your niche before diving straight in. I even use these tools for each and every blog post I make.
Jaaxy is an advanced keyword research tool built specifically for Internet Marketers to research the hottest and most profitable keywords online to find niche products and services.
Jaaxy also includes competition analysis for search terms and provides lists of merchants with affiliate programs matching your keywords. It’s an excellent tool to save time and effort, especially when brainstorming ideas.
Think of it as an all round tool to research and manage the following:

- Who the competitors are for those keywords.
- The estimated value of a top search engine page ranking with successful SEO (Return on Investment).
- Alternative keywords you can target.
- Where you can find affiliate programs to match your niche.
I use the paid version of Jaaxy because I’m keyword checking every blog but you can get 30 free searches using the Free Trial before you will offered the option to upgrade your account for continued use.
Do some homework with Jaaxy, it’s a great research tool.
